Description

Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Oil for frying
  • Your favorite vegan wing sauce

Instructions

  1. Drain and rinse the jackfruit, then cut it into manageable pieces.
  2. In a bowl, mix together the flour, water, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper until smooth to make the batter.
  3. Dip each piece of jackfruit into the batter, ensuring it’s well coated, then roll it in breadcrumbs for an extra crunch.
  4. In a frying pan, heat oil over medium heat until hot.
  5. Carefully add the coated jackfruit wings, frying them for about 4-5 minutes or until golden brown on all sides.
  6. Remove the wings from the oil and place them on paper towels to absorb any excess oil.
  7. Toss the wings in your favorite vegan wing sauce and serve immediately.
