Description

Easy and delicious jalapeño poppers stuffed with creamy cheese and crispy bacon, perfect for parties or gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 jalapeños
  • 8 oz cream cheese (room temperature)
  • 1 garlic clove (minced)
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp ground black pepper
  • 3 Tbsp green onion (chopped)
  • 1 cup shredded mild cheddar cheese
  • 6 oz bacon (cooked and chopped)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Carefully slice the jalapeños in half lengthwise and use a spoon to remove the seeds and membranes.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, minced garlic, salt, pepper, green onion, cheddar cheese, and cooked bacon. Mix until well blended.
  4. Fill each jalapeño half with the cream cheese mixture so it’s level with the sides.
  5. Arrange the stuffed jalapeños on a baking sheet and bake for 18-20 minutes, until the cheese is melted and golden.
  6. Allow them to cool slightly before serving. Enjoy warm or at room temperature!

Notes

For a milder flavor, remove all seeds and membranes from the jalapeños. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
