- 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
- 1 cup mushrooms, sliced (cremini or button recommended)
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup cheese (cheddar or mozzarella, shredded)
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the sliced mushrooms and minced garlic and sauté until the mushrooms are tender, about 5-7 minutes.
- In a large bowl, combine the cooked chicken, sautéed mushrooms and garlic, heavy cream, shredded cheese, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
- Pour the mixture into a casserole dish and spread it evenly.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until the casserole is bubbly and has a golden top.
- Garnish with fresh parsley if desired, serve warm, and enjoy!
Notes
Leftovers can be refrigerated for up to 3 days or frozen for up to 2 months. Reheat in the oven or microwave.
