- 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
- 1 cup mushrooms, sliced (cremini or button)
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Sauté the garlic and mushrooms until tender and fragrant.
- In a mixing bowl, combine shredded chicken with sautéed garlic and mushrooms.
- Pour in the heavy cream and add half of the shredded cheese. Season with salt and pepper and stir until well mixed.
- Transfer the mixture to a greased casserole dish and top with the remaining cheese.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the top is bubbly and golden brown.
- Garnish with fresh parsley if desired and serve warm.
