- 3 cups broccoli florets
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce (optional)
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
Instructions
- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat until shimmering.
- Add the ground beef and cook until browned, about 6-8 minutes.
- Push the beef to one side, and add the onion and garlic on the other side. Cook for 3 minutes until the onion is translucent.
- Stir in the broccoli florets, sauté for 1 minute.
- Season with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Stir thoroughly.
- Cover the skillet and cook for 5-7 minutes until broccoli is tender yet crisp.
- Reduce heat and stir in the heavy cream.
- Sprinkle cheddar cheese over the top, cover for 2-3 minutes until melted.
- Add Worcestershire sauce and red pepper flakes before serving, if desired.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days. Reheat in a skillet, adding a splash of cream if needed.
