Ingredients

  • 3 cups broccoli florets
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce (optional)
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

Instructions

  1. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat until shimmering.
  2. Add the ground beef and cook until browned, about 6-8 minutes.
  3. Push the beef to one side, and add the onion and garlic on the other side. Cook for 3 minutes until the onion is translucent.
  4. Stir in the broccoli florets, sauté for 1 minute.
  5. Season with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Stir thoroughly.
  6. Cover the skillet and cook for 5-7 minutes until broccoli is tender yet crisp.
  7. Reduce heat and stir in the heavy cream.
  8. Sprinkle cheddar cheese over the top, cover for 2-3 minutes until melted.
  9. Add Worcestershire sauce and red pepper flakes before serving, if desired.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days. Reheat in a skillet, adding a splash of cream if needed.
