Description
A flavorful combination of marinated flank steak, sautéed vegetables, and fluffy rice, drizzled with a spicy cream sauce.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 cups cooked rice
- 1 lb flank steak
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon ginger powder
- 1 cup vegetables (bell peppers, carrots, broccoli)
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 2 tablespoons gochujang (Korean chili paste)
- 1 tablespoon green onions (for garnish)
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine soy sauce, sesame oil, brown sugar, garlic powder, and ginger powder. Add the flank steak, ensuring it’s well coated. Let it marinate for at least 30 minutes.
- Heat a grill or skillet to medium-high. Sear the steak for about 4-5 minutes on each side, depending on your preferred doneness. Once cooked, let it rest for a few minutes before slicing.
- Sauté your choice of vegetables in a pan until they’re tender but still vibrant.
- In a small bowl, mix sour cream and gochujang. Adjust seasoning to your liking.
- Place cooked rice in bowls, then top with sliced steak, sautéed vegetables, and a generous drizzle of the spicy cream sauce.
- Finish with chopped green onions for an extra burst of flavor.
Notes
Best served immediately while everything is fresh and warm. Pair with pickled radish or kimchi for an authentic touch.
