Ingredients

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes (or to taste)
  • 2 cups cooked rice
  • 2 green onions, sliced

Instructions

  1. In a pan over medium heat, brown the ground beef.
  2. Drain excess fat from the pan.
  3. Add minced garlic to the pan and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  4. Stir in soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, and red pepper flakes.
  5. Simmer for a few minutes until the sauce thickens.
  6. Serve the beef mixture over cooked rice.
  7. Garnish with sliced green onions before serving.

Notes

Use lean ground beef for a healthier option and adjust red pepper flakes to taste. This dish is great for meal prep.
