- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon lemon zest
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt until well combined.
- Gradually stir in the milk and melted butter. Mix until the batter is smooth.
- Pour the batter into a greased baking dish, spreading it evenly.
- In another bowl, combine the lemon juice and zest. Pour this mixture over the batter. Do not stir!
- Bake in your preheated oven for 30-35 minutes or until the top is golden and a toothpick inserted into the cobbler comes out clean.
Notes
Serve warm with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream. Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to three days or freeze for up to a month.
