Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cream the sugar and butter in a mixing bowl until fluffy and light.
  3. Beat in the milk, lemon juice, lemon zest, vanilla extract, and eggs until thoroughly combined.
  4. Gradually sift in the flour and salt and mix until the batter is smooth.
  5. Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish, ensuring it’s evenly distributed.
  6. Place the dish inside a larger pan filled with hot water to create a double boiler effect.
  7. Bake for about 45 minutes, or until the pudding is set and a light golden hue develops.
  8. Allow to cool slightly before serving, delightful warm or chilled.

Notes
