Ingredients

Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cream the sugar and butter in a mixing bowl until fluffy and light.
- Beat in the milk, lemon juice, lemon zest, vanilla extract, and eggs until thoroughly combined.
- Gradually sift in the flour and salt and mix until the batter is smooth.
- Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish, ensuring it’s evenly distributed.
- Place the dish inside a larger pan filled with hot water to create a double boiler effect.
- Bake for about 45 minutes, or until the pudding is set and a light golden hue develops.
- Allow to cool slightly before serving, delightful warm or chilled.
Notes
For a more intense lemon flavor, increase the lemon zest or add extra lemon juice right before serving.
