A satisfying and quick meal featuring seasoned ground beef, fluffy rice, and melted cheese, ideal for busy weeknights.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pound ground beef

- 1 packet taco seasoning
- 1/2 cup salsa
- 4 large flour tortillas

Instructions
- In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef until fully cooked. Drain any excess fat.
- Sprinkle the taco seasoning over the beef and add water as directed on the packet. Stir until combined.
- Mix the cooked rice into the seasoned beef, ensuring it’s well combined.
- Lay out your flour tortillas and place a generous scoop of the beef and rice mixture in the center of each tortilla.
- Top with shredded cheese and a spoonful of salsa.
- Carefully roll each burrito, folding in the sides to secure the filling.
- Toast the burritos in a skillet until golden brown on both sides for a crispy finish.
- Serve warm with sour cream and chopped green onions, if desired.
Notes
For a lighter option, swap ground beef for ground turkey or plant-based meat. Leftovers can be stored in the fridge for up to 3 days or frozen for about 2 months.
