Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 425°F and bake the tater tots according to the package instructions, about 28 minutes total, flipping halfway for even crisping.
- Allow them to cool for a few minutes.
- Thread 4 to 6 tater tots onto each skewer and arrange them on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Sprinkle the cheese over the tater tots, followed by bacon bits and half of the chopped green onion.
- Return the skewers to the oven and bake for another 5 to 7 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Remove from the oven, garnish with the remaining green onions, and serve with a side of sour cream.
Notes
For extra crispiness, bake the tater tots directly on the oven rack instead of a baking sheet. Customize with toppings like jalapeños or avocado!
