  • 8 oz pasta (fettuccine or penne)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta according to the package instructions. Once done, drain and set it aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat a splash of olive oil over medium heat. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper, then add them to the skillet. Cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side until they are golden brown and cooked through. Once done, remove the chicken and set aside.
  3. Using the same skillet, toss in the minced garlic and sauté for about a minute until fragrant.
  4. Pour in the chicken broth and heavy cream, adding Italian seasoning; bring this to a gentle simmer.
  5. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese, allowing it to melt and combine beautifully with the sauce.
  6. Slice the cooked chicken and return it to the skillet, then add in the cooked pasta. Toss everything together, ensuring each piece is coated in the creamy goodness.
  7. Serve warm, garnished with chopped fresh parsley.
