  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and powdered sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Add the egg and vanilla extract, mixing until well combined.
  5. Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet ingredients, stirring until just incorporated.
  6. Scoop tablespoon-sized balls of dough onto a lined baking sheet and slightly flatten each ball.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until edges are lightly golden.
  8. Cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
