Description
A delightful twist on classic deviled eggs featuring rich, creamy yolks blended with crispy bacon bits and a hint of tanginess.
Ingredients
Scale
- 6 hard-boiled eggs
- 4 slices of bacon (cooked and crumbled)
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
- 1 teaspoon white vinegar
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped chives or green onions (for garnish)
Instructions
- Carefully cut the hard-boiled eggs in half and remove the yolks.
- In a mixing bowl, mash the egg yolks until crumbly, then add the mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, white vinegar, salt, and pepper. Mix until smooth.
- Gently fold in the crumbled bacon, saving a few pieces for garnish.
- Spoon or pipe the yolk mixture back into the egg whites for a beautifully filled presentation.
- Top each with additional crumbled bacon and a sprinkle of chopped chives or green onions for flair.
- Chill in the refrigerator or serve at room temperature to allow flavors to meld.
Notes
Make sure your hard-boiled eggs are perfectly cooked to avoid a greenish hue around yolks. Store leftovers in an airtight container and consume within 2 days.
