- 1 cup jalapeños, finely chopped
- 1 cup cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 12 egg roll wrappers
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- Mix the filling: In a mixing bowl, combine the jalapeños, cream cheese, cheddar cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until evenly mixed.
- Prepare the egg rolls: Place a tablespoon of the filling in the center of each egg roll wrapper. Fold the sides over the filling and roll it tightly from the bottom.
- Fry them up: Heat oil in a deep frying pan over medium heat. Once hot, carefully place the egg rolls in and fry until they’re golden brown and crispy—about 3-4 minutes on each side.
- Drain and serve: When they’re done, drain the egg rolls on paper towels to remove excess oil and enjoy while hot!
Notes
Serve with dips like ranch dressing or sriracha aioli. Can be frozen before frying for later use.
