Description

A quick and delicious dinner option featuring tender chicken strips in a savory, sticky sauce served over steamed rice.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb chicken breast, sliced into strips
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 3 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Steamed rice for serving

Instructions

  1. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Add the chicken strips and season with salt and pepper. Cook until golden and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. In a small bowl, mix soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic, and ginger.
  4. Pour the sauce over the chicken and stir to coat. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens.
  5. Serve over steamed rice.

Notes
