No Bake Banana Split Dessert

  • Total Time: 120 minutes
  • Yield: 12 servings 1x
  • Diet: Vegetarian

Description

A creamy, layered dessert inspired by the classic banana split, perfect for gatherings or a sweet indulgence without the oven.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • ¼ cup butter, softened
  • 3 cups powdered sugar
  • 4 medium bananas, sliced
  • 20-ounce can of crushed pineapple (drained)
  • 16 ounces Cool Whip
  • 1 jar of maraschino cherries
  • ½ cup crushed walnuts
  • ½ cup hot fudge sauce
  • 12 full graham cracker sheets (finely crushed)
  • 9 tablespoons butter (melted)
  • ⅓ cup granulated sugar

Instructions

  1. Lightly coat a 9×13 baking dish with non-stick cooking spray.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and sugar. Mix until everything is well coated and holds together when pressed.
  3. Pour the crumb mixture into the baking dish and firmly pack it down to form a base. Set aside.
  4. In another bowl, mix the softened cream cheese, ¼ cup butter, and powdered sugar until smooth and creamy.
  5. Spread this cream cheese mixture evenly over the graham cracker crust.
  6. Evenly distribute the sliced bananas over the cream cheese layer, pressing them down slightly.
  7. Add the drained crushed pineapple on top of the bananas.
  8. Spread the Cool Whip across the pineapple layer.
  9. Finally, top your dessert with crushed walnuts, maraschino cherries, and drizzle with hot fudge sauce.
  10. Chill for several hours or overnight before cutting and serving.

Notes

Store leftovers covered tightly in the refrigerator for 3 to 4 days. For a twist, substitute bananas with other fruits or try an Oreo crust instead of graham crackers.
