- 2 cups almond flour
- 1/2 cup sugar-free chocolate chips
- 1/4 cup coconut oil, melted
- 1/4 cup maple syrup or honey (optional)
- 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 egg
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together the almond flour, baking soda, and salt.
- In a separate bowl, mix the melted coconut oil, vanilla extract, egg, and maple syrup or honey until well blended.
- Combine the wet and dry ingredients until a dough forms, then gently fold in the chocolate chips.
- Scoop out tablespoon-sized portions of the dough and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 10–12 minutes, or until the edges become golden brown.
- Allow to cool slightly before serving, so they hold their shape but remain warm and gooey.
Notes
For an elevated experience, serve warm with whipped cream or low-sugar ice cream. Store in an airtight container for up to a week.
