Description

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup sugar-free chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup coconut oil, melted
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup or honey (optional)
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 egg

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the almond flour, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix the melted coconut oil, vanilla extract, egg, and maple syrup or honey until well blended.
  4. Combine the wet and dry ingredients until a dough forms, then gently fold in the chocolate chips.
  5. Scoop out tablespoon-sized portions of the dough and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. Bake for 10–12 minutes, or until the edges become golden brown.
  7. Allow to cool slightly before serving, so they hold their shape but remain warm and gooey.

Notes

For an elevated experience, serve warm with whipped cream or low-sugar ice cream. Store in an airtight container for up to a week.
