 - 1 tsp cinnamon
 - 1/4 tsp nutmeg
 - 1 cup butter, softened
 - 1/2 cup granulated sugar
 - 1 cup brown sugar
 - 2 tsp vanilla extract
 - 2 large eggs
 - 3 cups Old Fashioned Oats
 - 1 1/2 cups raisins
 
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
 - In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
 - In another bowl, beat softened butter with granulated and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
 - Add vanilla and eggs, mixing well.
 - Gradually mix in dry ingredients until just combined.
 - Stir in oats and fold in raisins.
 - Scoop tablespoon-sized portions of dough onto prepared sheets.
 - Bake for 12-15 minutes until edges are golden.
 - Let cool on the pan briefly before moving to a wire rack.
 
Notes
Use softened butter for best results. Avoid overmixing the dough to keep cookies tender.
