Description

Ingredients

  • 6 cups of sliced apples
  • 1 cup of granulated sugar
  • 2 teaspoons of cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup of all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup of rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup of brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup of unsalted butter
  • 1/4 teaspoon of salt
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine sliced apples, granulated sugar, cinnamon, and vanilla extract.
  3. Spread the apple mixture evenly in a greased baking dish.
  4. In another bowl, mix flour, oats, brown sugar, and salt together.
  5. Melt the butter and mix it into the dry ingredients until crumbly.
  6. Sprinkle the crumbly mixture evenly over the apples.
  7. Bake for 30-40 minutes until the apples are tender and the topping is golden brown.
  8. Serve warm, optionally with ice cream.
