Description
A delightful One-Pan Chicken with Buttered Noodles dish, combining tender chicken, buttery noodles, and aromatic garlic for a perfect weeknight dinner.
Ingredients
Scale
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (1.5 lbs)
- 8 oz egg noodles
- 4 tbsp real butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cups low-sodium chicken broth
- ¼ cup fresh parsley, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a large skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of butter over medium-high heat. Add the chicken breasts, seasoning them with salt and pepper. Cook for about 5 minutes on each side, or until golden brown.
- Once the chicken is browned, stir in the minced garlic. Sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant, being careful not to let it burn.
- Pour in the chicken broth and bring it to a boil to create a beautiful base for the noodles.
- Stir in the egg noodles. Let it simmer for 8-10 minutes, or until the noodles are cooked al dente, adjusting the heat to prevent overboiling.
- Remove the skillet from heat. Stir in the remaining butter and sprinkle the chopped parsley over the top for garnish.
Notes
For extra flavor, consider adding seasonal vegetables or swapping the egg noodles for zoodles.
