Description

A comforting one-pan dish featuring tender chicken breasts over buttery, garlicky egg noodles, perfect for busy weeknight dinners.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 chicken breasts
  • 8 ounces egg noodles
  • 3 tablespoons butter (divided)
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Melt 1 tablespoon of butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning, and cook until golden brown, about 6 to 7 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.
  2. Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a gentle boil. Add the egg noodles and cook according to package instructions, usually 7 to 8 minutes.
  3. In the final minute, stir in the minced garlic and remaining butter, mixing well to coat the noodles.
  4. Slice the cooked chicken and serve over the buttery noodles, garnished with fresh parsley if desired.

Notes

Add steamed vegetables or a green salad on the side for a complete meal. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 4 days.
