- 8 ounces of pasta (fettuccine or penne)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cups milk (whole or low-fat)
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
- Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Add pasta and pour in the milk; stir well to combine and bring to a gentle boil.
- Reduce heat to low and continue cooking, stirring occasionally, until pasta is al dente and most milk is absorbed, about 10-12 minutes.
- Stir in grated Parmesan cheese and mix until the sauce is creamy and smooth.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste, then serve hot, garnished with chopped parsley.
Notes
Best served with a side salad or garlic bread. Can be stored in an airtight container for 3-4 days in the fridge.
