Description

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces of pasta (fettuccine or penne)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups milk (whole or low-fat)
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
  2. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  3. Add pasta and pour in the milk; stir well to combine and bring to a gentle boil.
  4. Reduce heat to low and continue cooking, stirring occasionally, until pasta is al dente and most milk is absorbed, about 10-12 minutes.
  5. Stir in grated Parmesan cheese and mix until the sauce is creamy and smooth.
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste, then serve hot, garnished with chopped parsley.

Notes
