- 24 Oreo cookies
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 tub (8 oz) Cool Whip, thawed
- 1 package (3.4 oz) chocolate pudding mix
- 2 cups milk
- Additional Oreo cookies for topping
Instructions
- In a bowl, crush 24 Oreo cookies and mix them with melted butter.
- Press the mixture evenly into the bottom of a baking pan to create a sturdy crust.
- In another bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with powdered sugar until smooth.
- Gently fold half of the Cool Whip into the cream cheese mixture, then spread it over the crust.
- Mix the chocolate pudding with 2 cups of milk following the package directions. Pour this over the cream cheese layer.
- Spread the remaining Cool Whip over the pudding layer, smoothing it out nicely.
- Crush additional Oreo cookies and sprinkle them on top as a delicious finishing touch.
- Refrigerate for at least 240 minutes, or preferably overnight, before serving.
