Description

A rich and decadent dessert combining chocolate cake, creamy Oreo pudding, and crunchy Oreo bits, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 1 box chocolate cake mix
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 3 eggs
  • 2 packages instant Oreo pudding mix (3.9 oz each)
  • 2 cups cold milk
  • 1 container (8 oz) whipped topping
  • 12 Oreos, crushed
  • Optional: Chocolate syrup for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly coat a 9×13-inch baking pan with cooking spray.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the chocolate cake mix, water, vegetable oil, and eggs. Mix until everything is thoroughly incorporated.
  3. Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and bake for 25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  4. Once baked, allow the cake to cool completely. Use the handle of a wooden spoon to poke holes across the top of the cake.
  5. In a medium bowl, whisk together the Oreo pudding mix and cold milk until smooth and creamy.
  6. Pour the pudding mixture over the cooled cake, spreading it evenly to fill the holes.
  7. Refrigerate the cake for at least one hour to let it set up.
  8. After chilling, spread the whipped topping over the pudding layer and top with the crushed Oreos.
  9. For an extra touch, drizzle chocolate syrup on top if desired and serve!
