Description
A rich and decadent dessert combining chocolate cake, creamy Oreo pudding, and crunchy Oreo bits, perfect for any occasion.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 box chocolate cake mix
- 1 cup water
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 3 eggs
- 2 packages instant Oreo pudding mix (3.9 oz each)
- 2 cups cold milk
- 1 container (8 oz) whipped topping
- 12 Oreos, crushed
- Optional: Chocolate syrup for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly coat a 9×13-inch baking pan with cooking spray.
- In a large bowl, combine the chocolate cake mix, water, vegetable oil, and eggs. Mix until everything is thoroughly incorporated.
- Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and bake for 25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Once baked, allow the cake to cool completely. Use the handle of a wooden spoon to poke holes across the top of the cake.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the Oreo pudding mix and cold milk until smooth and creamy.
- Pour the pudding mixture over the cooled cake, spreading it evenly to fill the holes.
- Refrigerate the cake for at least one hour to let it set up.
- After chilling, spread the whipped topping over the pudding layer and top with the crushed Oreos.
- For an extra touch, drizzle chocolate syrup on top if desired and serve!
