- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
- 1 tablespoon butter (for greasing the dish)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and thoroughly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish with butter.
- Place the torn croissant pieces into the greased baking dish.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, pepper, and vanilla extract (if using).
- Pour the egg mixture over the croissants, gently pressing them down to ensure absorption.
- Evenly sprinkle the diced ham or sausage, shredded cheese, and chopped green onions over the top.
- Cover the dish with plastic wrap and let it chill in the refrigerator overnight.
