- 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/2 cups pecans, chopped
- 3 large eggs
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
- In a large bowl, mix together the melted butter, brown sugar, granulated sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
- Add the flour and salt to the mixture; stir gently until just combined.
- Fold in the chopped pecans.
- Spread the mixture evenly in the prepared baking pan.
- Bake for about 25-30 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown.
- Allow the bars to cool completely in the pan before cutting them into squares.
Notes
Serve with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream for an elevated treat. Can be stored in an airtight container for up to 3 days at room temperature or refrigerated for a week.
