Instructions

  3. In a large bowl, beat the butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and salt until smooth.
  4. Add the vanilla and eggs; mix until combined.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  6. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  7. Chill the dough for at least 30 minutes.
  8. Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto baking sheets.
  9. Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are golden.
  10. Let cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
