Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup coconut oil, melted
  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Optional: chocolate chips or nuts

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine almond flour, cocoa powder, and salt. Stir until mixed.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together honey (or maple syrup), melted coconut oil, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix thoroughly until well combined.
  5. If using, fold chocolate chips or nuts into the mixture.
  6. Spread the batter evenly in a greased or lined baking dish.
  7. Bake for 15-20 minutes, watching for the center to set.
  8. Allow the bars to cool before cutting them into squares.
