- 1 cup almond flour
- 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
- 1/4 cup coconut oil, melted
- 1/4 cup cocoa powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Optional: chocolate chips or nuts
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine almond flour, cocoa powder, and salt. Stir until mixed.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together honey (or maple syrup), melted coconut oil, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix thoroughly until well combined.
- If using, fold chocolate chips or nuts into the mixture.
- Spread the batter evenly in a greased or lined baking dish.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes, watching for the center to set.
- Allow the bars to cool before cutting them into squares.
Notes
Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week or in the refrigerator for two weeks. Freeze for longer storage.
