Ingredients

- 2 slices of your preferred bread (sourdough, whole grain, or classic white)
- 2 slices of cheese (mozzarella and cheddar)
- 2 tablespoons of pesto (homemade or store-bought)
- 1 tablespoon of butter
Instructions
- Spread pesto on one side of each slice of bread.
- Place one slice of bread, pesto side up, in a skillet heated to medium.
- Add the cheese slices on top of the pesto.
- Cap it off with the other slice of bread, pesto side down.
- Butter the top slice generously.
- Cook for about 3-5 minutes or until golden brown and the cheese is melty.
- Flip and repeat on the other side.
- Remove from heat, slice, and enjoy!
Notes
Toast the bread first for an extra crispy exterior. Mix cheeses for more flavor and add extra ingredients like tomato or avocado for a twist.
