Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth.
- Beat in the pumpkin puree and eggs, then stir in the vanilla extract.
- In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, and salt.
- Gradually combine the dry ingredients with the wet mixture until fully incorporated.
- Drop by tablespoons onto ungreased baking sheets, leaving enough space between cookies.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden. Once done, let the cookies cool on the sheets.
- For the frosting, beat the cream cheese and vanilla until smooth, then gradually add the powdered sugar.
