Description

A delicious homemade Pumpkin Syrup that adds a sweet and spicy kick to your coffee and can be used in various recipes.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup pumpkin puree
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, combine 1 cup water and 1 cup granulated sugar.
  2. Stir the mixture until the sugar is completely dissolved.
  3. Add 1/2 cup pumpkin puree and 1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice to the saucepan.
  4. Bring the mixture to a simmer over medium heat.
  5. Cook the syrup for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally to prevent it from sticking.
  6. After 10 minutes, remove the saucepan from heat.
  7. Stir in 1 teaspoon vanilla extract and let the mixture cool.
  8. Once cooled, strain the syrup through a fine-mesh sieve to remove any solids.
  9. Store the syrup in a clean jar or container in the refrigerator.
