Delightful little pancakes made with creamy quark and heart-healthy oats, perfect for breakfast or a snack.
Ingredients

- 250 g Magerquark (or low-fat quark)
- 100 g rolled oats (Haferflocken)
- 2 eggs
- 50 g honey or maple syrup
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- A pinch of salt
- Cinnamon (to taste)
- Oil or butter (for frying)
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine Magerquark, eggs, honey (or maple syrup), and vanilla extract. Whisk until well blended.
- In a separate bowl, mix the rolled oats, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.
- Gradually fold the dry mixture into the wet ingredients until you have a smooth batter.
- Heat a pan over medium heat and add a little oil or butter.
- Drop small portions of the batter into the pan using a tablespoon. Cook each side for about 3-4 minutes until golden brown.
- Once cooked, place the Quark Coins on a kitchen towel to absorb excess oil and serve warm.
Notes
Add toppings like fresh fruit or yogurt for variations. Can be frozen for up to a month.
