- 1 cup warm water
- 1 packet (2 1/4 teaspoons) instant yeast
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 tablespoon olive oil (optional)
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, instant yeast, salt, and sugar.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 1 minute, just until it’s smooth.
- Shape the dough into a loaf and place it on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Let it rise for about 10 minutes.
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Bake the bread for 20-25 minutes, or until it’s golden brown and crusty.
- Allow to cool before slicing and enjoy!
