Description

Ingredients

  • 1 head of green cabbage
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • Salt, to taste
  • Black pepper, to taste
  • Optional: Garlic powder, paprika, or your favorite seasoning

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Remove the outer leaves from the cabbage and slice the head into thick steaks, about 1 inch thick.
  3. Brush each side of the cabbage steaks with olive oil and season with salt, black pepper, and any optional spices.
  4. Arrange the cabbage steaks on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  5. Roast the steaks in the oven for 25-30 minutes, flipping them halfway through.
  6. Once golden and crispy on the edges, remove them from the oven and serve hot.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3-4 days. Reheat in the oven at 350°F (175°C) for 10-15 minutes to retain crispiness.
