- 1 head of green cabbage
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- Salt, to taste
- Black pepper, to taste
- Optional: Garlic powder, paprika, or your favorite seasoning
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Remove the outer leaves from the cabbage and slice the head into thick steaks, about 1 inch thick.
- Brush each side of the cabbage steaks with olive oil and season with salt, black pepper, and any optional spices.
- Arrange the cabbage steaks on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Roast the steaks in the oven for 25-30 minutes, flipping them halfway through.
- Once golden and crispy on the edges, remove them from the oven and serve hot.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3-4 days. Reheat in the oven at 350°F (175°C) for 10-15 minutes to retain crispiness.
