Description

  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 lb (450 g) fresh green beans, trimmed
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • ¼ cup (25 g) grated Parmesan cheese
  • Optional: pinch of red pepper flakes

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Wash and trim the green beans, ensuring they are dry.
  3. Toss the beans in a mixing bowl with olive oil, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper.
  4. Spread the green beans on the baking sheet in a single layer and roast for 12–15 minutes, flipping halfway.
  5. Sprinkle the grated Parmesan over the beans and return to the oven for an additional 2–3 minutes until melted and golden.
  6. Serve with a squeeze of fresh lemon juice if desired.

Notes

For a vegan option, substitute Parmesan with nutritional yeast.
