Description

Ingredients

  • 500g bread flour
  • 400ml water (room temperature)
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp instant yeast
  • 60ml olive oil
  • Toppings: rosemary, sea salt, cherry tomatoes, or any favorite herbs

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, whisk together the bread flour, salt, and yeast.
  2. Gradually add in the water and olive oil, mixing until you have a sticky dough.
  3. Knead the dough for about 5-10 minutes until it’s smooth and elastic.
  4. Transfer the dough to an oiled bowl, cover it, and let it rise for 1-2 hours, or until doubled in size.
  5. Preheat your oven to 220°C (430°F).
  6. Once the dough has risen, press it into a greased baking pan, dimple the surface, and add chosen toppings.
  7. Allow the dough to rest for another 20 minutes before baking.
  8. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown and sounds hollow when tapped.
  9. Let it cool slightly, then slice and serve.
