Ingredients

- 500g Bread Flour
- 350ml Water
- 100g Active Sourdough Starter
- 10g Salt
- Olive Oil
- Fresh Rosemary
- Sea Salt
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, combine 500g bread flour, 350ml water, and 100g active sourdough starter. Mix until a shaggy dough forms.
- Allow the dough to rest for 30 minutes.
- Add 10g salt to the dough and knead for about 10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
- Grease a bowl and place the kneaded dough inside. Cover and let rise for 3-4 hours, stretching and folding every hour.
- Preheat your oven to 220°C (428°F).
- Transfer the risen dough to a greased baking tray and gently spread it out.
- Dimple the surface with your fingers, drizzle with olive oil, and garnish with rosemary and sea salt.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
- Let it cool slightly on a wire rack before slicing.
Notes
For an extra crispy crust, place a shallow pan filled with water in the oven during baking. High-protein bread flour is recommended for better rise.
