Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a skillet over medium heat, brown the sausage until fully cooked. Drain off any excess fat.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, and pepper.
- If using bread, cut it into cubes and layer the bottom of a greased baking dish.
- Spread the cooked sausage evenly over the bread, then sprinkle in the chopped vegetables if using.
- Pour the egg mixture over the sausage and bread, ensuring everything is well coated.
- Top with shredded cheese.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the egg is set and the cheese is bubbly.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
