Ingredients

- 1 lb sausage (Italian or smoked)
- 4 cups chopped cabbage
- 1 onion, sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Toss in the sliced onion and cook until translucent, about 3-4 minutes.
- Add the minced garlic and cook for another minute until fragrant.
- Remove the sausage from its casing, break it into the skillet, and cook until browned and fully cooked through.
- Stir in the chopped cabbage and mix well.
- Cover the skillet and let the cabbage wilt for about 5-7 minutes.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve hot and enjoy!
Notes
For a lower-carb option, serve over greens or with roasted vegetables. A splash of hot sauce can add a kick!
