Description

A comforting one-pan dish combining fresh broccoli, savory chicken sausage, and cheese-filled tortellini, ready in about 30 minutes.


Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lbs fresh broccoli, cut into florets
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 11 oz chicken sausage, sliced
  • 16 oz frozen cheese tortellini
  • 8 oz grated parmesan cheese
  • 6 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: red chili flakes for a spicy kick

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400ºF.
  2. Toss the broccoli with minced garlic, 2 tablespoons of olive oil, salt, and pepper directly on a sheet pan.
  3. Roast the broccoli for 10 minutes until bright green but still crisp.
  4. Increase the oven temperature to 450ºF.
  5. In a bowl, combine the roasted broccoli with sliced chicken sausage, frozen tortellini, the remaining olive oil, and half of the parmesan cheese.
  6. Prepare your sheet pan by lightly coating it with olive oil, then pour your mixture evenly onto the sheet.
  7. Bake for 12-15 minutes until everything is melted and golden brown.
  8. Before serving, sprinkle the remaining parmesan on top for that extra cheesy touch.

Notes

Serve fresh with a salad or crusty bread. It can be stored in the refrigerator for 3-4 days and reheated safely.
