Description

A hearty and satisfying one-pan meal featuring broccoli, chicken sausage, and cheesy tortellini, perfect for family dinners.


Ingredients

  • 1 ½ lbs fresh broccoli, cut into florets
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 11 oz chicken sausage, sliced
  • 16 oz frozen cheese tortellini
  • 8 oz grated parmesan cheese
  • 6 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: red chili flakes for a kick

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400ºF.
  2. Toss the broccoli with minced garlic, 2 tablespoons of olive oil, salt, and pepper on a sheet pan.
  3. Roast the broccoli for 10 minutes to achieve a bright green color and crunch.
  4. Increase the oven temperature to 450ºF.
  5. In a large bowl, combine the roasted broccoli, sliced chicken sausage, frozen tortellini, the remaining olive oil, and half of the parmesan.
  6. Grease the sheet pan with olive oil and spread the mixture evenly on it.
  7. Bake for 12-15 minutes until melted and golden brown.
  8. Sprinkle the remaining parmesan on top before serving.

Notes

For best flavor, serve with a side salad or garlic bread. Leftovers can be refrigerated for 3-4 days or frozen in portions.
