- 3/4 cup powdered sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 325°F and line two lightly colored baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a stand mixer, combine the softened butter, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract.
- Slowly add the all-purpose flour, mixing until a crumbly dough forms.
- Shape the dough into a ball and roll it out between two sheets of parchment paper to 1/3-1/2 inch thickness.
- Cut out shapes with a cookie cutter and place them on the prepared baking sheets.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes until the bottoms are golden, then cool on the trays for 5 minutes before transferring to a cooling rack.
Notes
Dust with powdered sugar for presentation and serve with tea or coffee. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to five days or freeze for up to three months.
