- 1 pound beef flank steak, thinly sliced
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese (or Pecorino)
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- Salt and pepper (to taste)
- Olive oil (for browning)
- 2 cups marinara sauce
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a medium bowl, combine the breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, chopped parsley, dried oregano, salt, and pepper.
- Lay the beef slices flat and evenly distribute the breadcrumb mixture on top of each slice.
- Roll each slice tightly and secure the ends with toothpicks or kitchen twine.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and brown the beef rolls on all sides.
- Transfer the beef rolls to an oven-safe dish and cover them with marinara sauce.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until cooked through and tender.
