Ingredients

  • 1 pound beef flank steak, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese (or Pecorino)
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • Salt and pepper (to taste)
  • Olive oil (for browning)
  • 2 cups marinara sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a medium bowl, combine the breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, chopped parsley, dried oregano, salt, and pepper.
  3. Lay the beef slices flat and evenly distribute the breadcrumb mixture on top of each slice.
  4. Roll each slice tightly and secure the ends with toothpicks or kitchen twine.
  5. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and brown the beef rolls on all sides.
  6. Transfer the beef rolls to an oven-safe dish and cover them with marinara sauce.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes until cooked through and tender.
