  • Total Time: 35 minutes
  • Yield: 8 servings 1x
  • Diet: Vegetarian

Description

Warm, flaky pastries filled with tender apples, gooey caramel, and a hint of cinnamon – perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 can of refrigerated crescent dough
  • 2 medium apples, peeled and diced
  • 1/2 cup caramel sauce
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Egg wash (1 egg beaten with 1 tablespoon water)
  • Powdered sugar for dusting (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the diced apples, caramel sauce, cinnamon, brown sugar, and vanilla extract. Mix well.
  3. Unroll the crescent dough and separate it into triangles.
  4. At the wide end of each triangle, place a spoonful of the apple mixture.
  5. Roll the dough around the filling to form a ball, pinching the edges to seal securely.
  6. Position the bombs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  7. Brush each bomb with the egg wash for that golden finish.
  8. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
  9. Allow to cool slightly, dust with powdered sugar if desired, and serve warm.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for a day or in the fridge for up to three days. Reheat in the oven to restore crispness.
