- 1 can of refrigerated crescent dough
- 2 medium apples, peeled and diced
- 1/2 cup caramel sauce
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Egg wash (1 egg beaten with 1 tablespoon water)
- Powdered sugar for dusting (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine the diced apples, caramel sauce, cinnamon, brown sugar, and vanilla extract. Mix well.
- Unroll the crescent dough and separate it into triangles.
- At the wide end of each triangle, place a spoonful of the apple mixture.
- Roll the dough around the filling to form a ball, pinching the edges to seal securely.
- Position the bombs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Brush each bomb with the egg wash for that golden finish.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
- Allow to cool slightly, dust with powdered sugar if desired, and serve warm.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for a day or in the fridge for up to three days. Reheat in the oven to restore crispness.
