- 1/2 cup onion, chopped
- 1/2 cup green bell pepper, chopped
- 1 cup ketchup
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon mustard

- 4 hamburger buns
Instructions
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned. Drain any excess fat.
- Add the chopped onions and green bell peppers to the skillet and sauté until softened, about 4–5 minutes.
- Stir in the ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, brown sugar, mustard, salt, and pepper. Mix everything well.
- Let the mixture simmer for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Lightly toast the hamburger buns.
- Serve the meat mixture over the toasted buns.
Notes
For a leaner option, substitute ground beef with ground turkey or chicken. Consider adding chili powder or paprika for an extra kick.
