Description

Delicious quesadillas combining the classic flavors of a smashburger with gooey cheese, perfect for weeknight dinners.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste
  • Garlic powder, to taste
  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar or American cheese
  • Optional toppings: pickles, diced onions, burger sauce

Instructions

  1. Heat a skillet or griddle over medium-high heat.
  2. Take a small handful of ground beef and press it directly onto one half of each tortilla.
  3. Season the beef generously with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  4. Cook the beef side down for about 2–3 minutes until it’s nicely browned.
  5. Carefully flip the tortilla, sprinkle with cheese, and fold it in half.
  6. Grill both sides for a few minutes until they are crispy and the cheese is melted.
  7. Once done, slice into wedges and serve hot!

Notes

Best enjoyed with crispy fries or a fresh salad. Refrigerate leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
