Instructions
- Preheat the Oven: Set your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a loaf pan or line it with parchment paper for easy removal.
- Mash the Bananas: In a large mixing bowl, mash the bananas until they’re smooth.
- Combine Wet Ingredients: Add the granulated sugar, brown sugar, melted butter, eggs, and vanilla extract to the bananas. Stir until completely combined.
- Whisk Dry Ingredients: In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.
- Merge the Mixtures: Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, alternating with milk. Mix gently until just combined.
- Transfer to the Pan: Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan, smoothing the top for an even bake.
- Add Topping: In a small bowl, mix the granulated sugar and ground cinnamon together, then sprinkle it evenly over the batter.
- Bake: Place in the oven and bake for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Cool: Let the bread rest for 10 minutes in the pan before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
