Description

A spooky twist on classic guacamole, perfect for Halloween parties with a fun spider web design.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups guacamole (homemade or Good Foods Chunky Guacamole)
  • 1/4 cup sour cream (or Greek yogurt for tang)
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt (optional, to taste)
  • Tortilla chips, pita chips, or veggie sticks, for serving
  • Optional garnishes: black olives (for spider), cherry tomatoes, jalapeño slices

Instructions

  1. In a shallow bowl, spread guacamole evenly.
  2. Smooth the surface of the guacamole; splash with lime juice if desired.
  3. Spoon sour cream into a piping bag (or sandwich bag) and snip a small tip.
  4. Pipe two intersecting lines to make a cross, then two diagonals.
  5. Connect the lines with gentle curved arcs to form a web.
  6. Use half a black olive for the body; cut another olive into thin strips for legs. Place the olive on the web.
  7. Ring the bowl with chips or veggies and serve immediately.

Notes

For best presentation, serve immediately after preparing. You can customize the garnishes for added fun!
