Description

Delightful Jumbo pasta shells stuffed with a creamy mixture of ricotta, fresh spinach, and mozzarella, baked in marinara sauce.


Ingredients

  • 12 jumbo pasta shells
  • 15 oz ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup fresh spinach, chopped
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 1 jar marinara sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the jumbo pasta shells according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine ricotta cheese, chopped spinach, shredded mozzarella, grated Parmesan, egg, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
  4. Stuff each cooked shell with the cheese mixture until generous.
  5. Spread a thin layer of marinara sauce on the bottom of a baking dish.
  6. Arrange the stuffed shells in the dish and drizzle with remaining marinara sauce over the top.
  7. Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 25 minutes.
  8. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
  9. Serve hot and enjoy!

Notes

Best served warm with a side of salad and garlic bread. Can substitute spinach with kale or add other herbs.
